On March 30, 2004, I got to know Lv Zhen, a Falun Gong addict from Mengyin County. Lv Zhen,28 years old, used to be a student at Sichuan University. When he was at the third grade, he began to practice Falun Gong. Since then he has been obsessed by Li Hongzhi's fallacies about "going up to the heaven and achieving consummation" and he has been addicted to Falun Gong until now.

One day we talked about Li Hongzhi's lection "Righteous ideas can prevent evil actions" issued on February 15, 2004. The lection read that, "All the Falun Gong practitioners can apply righteous ideas to stop any type of persecutions against themselves. For example, if anyone hammers Falun Gong practitioners with his fists, beats them with electronic sticks or give medical injections to them with force, Falun Gong practitioners can, with strong righteous ideas, easily make all the persecutions auto-switch to the persecutor." I remarked that this was nonsense and could only cheat small kids. But Lv Zhen said very seriously to me, "Why don't you believe it? I can make it. Do you dare to have a try?"

I knew clearly that he was sure to fail. However, in order to make him see through Li Hongzhi's deceptive righteous ideas personally, I agreed to have him try his righteous ideas on me. Lv Zhen suggested that I beat him and he could make me feel all the pains with his righteous ideas. Of course I would not beat him. So I suggested that I let him drink something bitter or hot. If he could use his righteous ideas to make me feel bitter or hot, I would believe What Falun Gong has claimed and allow him to go on practicing Falun Gong. He agreed readily.

We finally decided to use pepper jam. First I found several persons to be the witnesses. Then I put two spoons of pepper jam into a bowl of boiled water. Lv Zhen drank down all the water in one breath. Then his face was reddened and puffed continuously while I sat beside him safe and sound.

Lv Zhen's performance of righteous ideas failed naturally. He was greatly puzzled and speechless. Leaving him alone, I wanted him to think it over by himself. One hour later I resumed to talk with him and told him many facts in which Falun Dafa didn't work as expected. Through deep contemplations, Lv Zhen finally realized that the so-called righteous ideas were to fool people and control people's mind. So he awakened from the nightmare and cried loudly and bitterly.
